Pet Names
Hi team, welcome to this week's second edition of the newsletter! Today is a juicy one so strap up.
Jive Turkey: I learned yesterday that in the 70's (1970s) people used to call other people "Jive Turkeys". This is, of course, insane.
Bae: I also learned other historical words for significant others such as "main squeeze", "sheba/sheik", or "snookums". This conversation was also where I got to teach some people on my team the words "bae", "shawty", "huzz", and "main chick". This of course fully cemented myself as a young hip person.
Feel free to ask Mike about more of these pet names as apparently he was quite proficient with them back in the day.
That's all for today. Thanks for tuning in! I have attached the slang words for significant others if anyone is looking for something to surprise your significant other with when you go home.
