Bada Bing, Bada Ben

Wazzup team, welcome to this week's newsletter!

Some of you have pointed out that I have inconsistent quality between newsletters. To those haters I have one thing to say - that's strike one.

That being said, I don't want my haters to go hungry so I've prepared some other things people can hate on.

Fedoras: Fedoras are just formal bucket hats. And bucket hats are just informal Fedoras. Neither should be worn in public and there's a reason they have such a stereotype.

Books: Any book can be a choose your own adventure. Why do we let page numbers hold us back from reading the story we deserve? (this is one of my weaker hot takes)

Harry Potter: Harry Potter has one of the weakest magic systems in fantasy. Ever. The whole setting of the story is a school where people are supposed to learn magic. The rules, the how-to, the limitations. But repeatedly things pop into existence that break the rules or "conveniently don't work in this case." Be consistent Rowling. The time turners just happened to be destroyed after book 3? Get a grip.

Basic People: Everyone spends so much time trying not to be "basic", but that's silly and ridiculous. Someone is "basic" just because they like pumpkin spice and pop music? Have you ever tried anything pumpkin spice?! Basic things are popular because they're likable! Stop limiting yourself by some fake social rule that you have to "stand out". Listen to Taylor Swift! Wear the comfy T shirt from Gap! Enjoy the Marvel movie! Have a gender reveal party! People are interesting enough without feeling like they have to reject society. And I strongly believe that you can enjoy "basic" things and still have your unique quirks.

I actually have a lot more and I'm realizing that my haters might have a point. So anyway chime in with things to feed your haters.
