The Benginning of the Bend

Hello team, this week's update is mundane and unimportant, but you should read it anyway because I need the external validation.

Birthday: A few days ago I turned 29. Reactions were mixed.

The Question: One of our family birthday activities was watching a movie. We picked Zootopia 2, settled onto the couch, and prepared for a relaxing evening. Just as the Disney castle faded out of view and the movie started, my oldest scooted up next to me, cuddled in deep and asked "Where do babies come from?"

I, the village idiot, was not prepared for a five year old to ask this question and found myself unable to form words. My wife, an actual intelligent human, stepped in and explained how an egg implants into the uterine wall, a placenta grows to nourish the baby, etc, etc.

My oldest looks up at me and says "Wow. I didn't know any of that!"

Then we watched the movie.

OAuth: I finished my huge OAuth project at work this week. Well, I say finished but it still needs to be deployed. Also there are more features that are probably going to be requested. And since it's security it's never actually over, it just enters your daily list of things to monitor and answer questions about. And people keep telling me it took too long. But hey, I'm proud of it.

Anyway, I'm considering getting frosted tips, does anyone want to join me? It needs to happen before May 30th.
